Immediate opening for experienced pre-litigation personal injury legal assistant/ case manager for a busy plaintiff's PI practice on Central Avenue in St. Petersburg. Must have 1-2 years experience dealing with personal injury matters. The job entails opening files, gathering medical records, verifying insurance coverage, resolving property damage and lost wage issues, preparing demand packages and maintaining files. Client contact is a part of the job, so candidates must have excellent verbal communication skills. A good mastery of the English language is also required as the position entails a good deal of writing letters and demands independently. Must be well organized and a self-starter.
